Teaching and training of interns, under graduate and post graduate students of medical sciences and nursing courses, were forever priority for ID & BG Hospital. In fact, I myself had learnt a lot from the stalwart academicians during the tenures of my posting in different stages of my studentship. To me, personally, my present faculty position is like coming back home.

Research activity is another important prerequisite for a Medical Teaching Institution. This organisation, with a golden history regarding the same, is trying to excel with the introduction of a more dynamic ethics committee. To keep pace with modern times, the institutional website is being introduced. I hope, this endeavour will definitely bring in proficiency in the academic arena.
